Janet Marie (Kroncke) Savin

Janet Marie Savin (nee Kroncke), 86 years, of Burlington, WI (formerly Red Granite, WI), passed away on June 18th, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Janet was born on March 18th, 1936 to Ralph J. and Lillian M. (nee Larson) Kroncke.  Janet married the 2nd love of her life, the late Donald Savin, on August 21st, 1982.  Janet was a dedicated employee of Kohl’s Food Store working there for 20 years.  In her later years she enjoyed playing poker with her daughters while listening to polka music.  

Janet is survived by her three daughters: Dawn Franke, Cheryl (George) Given, and Sandra (Jimmy) Feavel; and daughter- in- law: Karen Berkey. Her sister Joyce (Ralph) Uebelacker and her children, Debbie and Randy.  Janet is further survived by her many grandchildren: Beth and Sara Berkey, Steven Locke, Stephanie Leveston, Joshua and Jeremiah Given, and Candice Feavel; great grandchildren: Callie and Makalya Berkey, Skyla, Hailey, Cash, Tyler Feavel, Lucas, Eli, Charlotte Locke, Elle Leveston, Everett Moen, Jeremiah Given Jr., and there are two more on their way .She is furthermore survived by two great-great- grandchildren   She will be missed by many.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Earl J. Berkey; second husband, Donald Savin; son, Steven Berkey; grandson, Dustin Feavel; and son in law, Michael Franke.

An open house visitation to celebrate Janet’s life will be held on Friday, June 24th, 2022, at Integrity Celebration Center, (2789 Browns Lake Dr., Burlington, WI 53105). Visitation will be from 4 PM until time of service 5:50 PM.  Janet will then be laid to rest at Arlington Park Cemetery, (4141 S 27th St, Milwaukee, WI 53221), on June 25th, 2022, at 10:30 AM. We will congregate at the main office at 10:15 before proceeding to Janet's final resting place.
