Barbara J. (Busch) Gutermuth

Barbara J. (Busch) Gutermuth, 62, of Burlington, WI, passed away May 17, 2026, at her home.

Barbara was born June 18, 1963, to Thomas G. and Mary Jane (Tenwinkel) Busch in Burlington, WI. She attended Burlington High School, where she graduated in 1981. She was a lifelong resident of Burlington.

She was employed as a CNA at various healthcare facilities around the Burlington Area. Barbara loved her residents and took immense pride in caring for others and helping people. She was also an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, enjoyed Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and cherished spending time relaxing on the patio with the people she loved most. 

She is survived by her daughter, Anna (boyfriend Justin Smith) Gutermuth; her longtime companion, Bruce H. Wark III; her sister, Lu Ann (Bill) Schwedler; nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends. 

She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Erich; her parents; and her grandparents.

An open house celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at Integrity Celebration Center, (2789 Browns Lake Dr, Burlington, WI 53105), on May 31, 2026, from 2:30 until 4:30 PM. Memorial donations may be made to Fellow Mortals Wildlife Hospital in Lake Geneva, WI.
