Raymond Edward Schulze

Raymond E. Schulze, passed away unexpectedly on January 18th, 2018 at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Raymond the son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather. The artist, musician, intellectual, soldier, teacher. The engineer, mechanic, builder. The strong. The protector. The provider.

I don’t know how you did it, dad. You covered it all. It was never easy by any means, but there was always enough, and you always kept making it better for us. Even if we had to take a step back every once in a while. Thanks for THOSE lessons. I’m so glad you’re back with mom. I know you missed her terribly. I’m jealous, but I have to stay here with my own for now. I can only imagine how incredible it was to hug Loralie again. I bet she’s been pretty impressed watching her daddy from heaven for all these years. This hurts so bad. I guess that’s equal, the weight of love. Now that you can feel our hearts directly, you truly know how much we love you. I wouldn’t be afraid if you wanted to stop in sometime. Miss you dad.
