Salvatore Castrogiovanni

Salvatore Thomas Castrogiovanni passed away at home on June 29th, 2014. He was born to Charles and Catherine (Cashman) Castrogiovanni on December 9th, 1940 in Chicago, IL.

Salvatore also known as Buddy, Bud, and Sam; was a 30 year employee of Miller Motors last working in May of this year. He enjoyed camping and meeting at McDonalds with friends in the morning, and being around people in general. He was known for being a jokester, and he will be dearly missed for the laughs and joy he brought to others.

Salvatore is survived by his special companion Gale Palmer and his children Kristin Castrogiovanni, Catherine (Mike) Mason, Anthony Castrogiovanni, and Salvatore Castorgiovanni Jr.; all from Janesville, WI. He will be further missed by his eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, his siblings Nicola (Louis) DuPont, Jerome (Raynette) Castrogiovanni, and his eleven nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Tina Marie Castrogiovanni.

The family would like to thank Dr. Haider, the staff, and Aurora visiting nurses for their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to Riverview Manor mailbox 225 at 580 Madison St, Burlington which will be given to the Aurora Hospice.

There will be a memorial open house, where family and friends may visit from 1-3pm and can honor the life of Salvatore on Saturday July 5th, 2014 at Ray Seidel Community Center. Located in Whitford Park at 730 N. River Rd. Waterford, WI 53185.
