Paul Tibbs

Paul E. Tibbs, born January 31st, 1932, passed away May 19th, 2015, at the age of 83. He had a successful work career in the military and in government service. After many years of hard work, he was enjoying retirement, by traveling, relaxing, and spending time with his family. Paul is survived by his children Deborah (Tibbs) McIlquham married to Mike, Kimberly Tibbs, and his son John Tibbs married to Christine; as well as, his grandchildren Matthew McIlquham, Charlotte Tibbs, and Sean Tibbs. Paul is further survived by his siblings Bill Tibbs married to Joan, David Tibbs married to Donnette, Karen (Tibbs) Heidbrink, and Jim Tibbs. Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife Bonnie Sue Tibbs, and his sister and brother-in-law Joan (Tibbs) Cummings and Bill Cummings. There will be a visitation at 10am for family and friends followed by a 10:30am Catholic Mass on May 30th at St. Peters Catholic Church (711 S. 6th Street, Petersberg, IL), With Father Thomas Holinga officiating. Immediately following the service Paul will be laid to rest at Oakland Cemetery (Oakland Cemetery Road, Petersburg, IL) of Menard County, IL. Family and Friends are welcome to join the Tibbs Family for a Luncheon back at The Knights of Columbus, Casey Hall.
