Joanne Tamblyn

Joanne D. Tamblyn ( nee Heine ), 74, crossed over to eternal life, in the afternoon of November 11th, 2015, at home with her family at her bedside. A resident of Waterford for 40 years.

Joanne was born in Milwaukee on September 2nd, 1941, daughter of Harry and Stella. She married her husband Lynn, on April 8th, 1961. They lived in Milwaukee till 1965, when they purchased a home in St. Francis, and then moved to Waterford in 1975.

Joanne was a bookkeeper for 6 years, and then settled into the difficult, but rewarding, job of mother and homemaker, raising 3 beautiful boys.

She is survived by her husband, son Mark ( Laurie ), grandchildren Zach, Jessica and Nicole, son Mike ( Mandy ), grandchildren Calvin and Connor, son Jeff ( Mary ) and grandson Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Elizabeth.

A mass will be at 5 PM Wednesday November 18th at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 305 S. First Street, Waterford. Visitation starts at 3 PM Wednesday, until the time of service. Burial will be Thursday November 19th at 10 AM in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the St Thomas St Vincent de Paul conference, so they can continue to help the needy.
