Floyd R. Schuerman

Floyd R. Schuerman, 87 of Burlington passed away at Burlington Rehab Center on October 29th, 2015. Floyd was born June 5th,1928 to Benjamin and O'delia Schuerman. He grew up in Burlington, attending St. Mary's High School. Floyd married the love of his life Joretta Church on July 1st, 1950. They shared 65 blessed years together and had 4 wonderful children. Floyd had many grandchildren, who he loved spending time with and supporting. He was also an avid outdoorsman, he truely enjoyed gardening, and spent countless hours traveling.

Floyd was survived by his loving wife Joretta Schuerman and their four children; Shelle (Don) Henningfeld, Jeff (Laura) Schuerman, Tom (Michele) Schuerman, and Kevin (Jean) Schuerman. He was further survived by his adoring grandchildren Courtney, Christina, Dustin (Jennifer), Jenna, Eric, Jill (Nik), Nick, Zach, Ally, Karly, Jared, Kolin, and nine great-grandchildren. Floyd is also survived by his sisters Betty Remer, Gloria (Ray) Tenhagen and sisters-in-law Pearl Schuerman and Ruth Schuerman.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Rosemary (Alvin) Weis, Bud Schuerman, Bert Schuerman, and brother-in-law Jim Remer.

Visitation will be held on Monday November 2nd, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm at St. Charles's Catholic Church (440 Kendall St. Burlington, WI 53105). A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday November 3rd, 2015 at 10:30am at St. Charles Catholic Church followed by an immediate burial at St. Mary's Cemetery. After the burial all are welcome to join the family for a luncheon, at Heim Hall in St. Mary's Catholic Church.
