Ann Stelzner

Ann Stelzner, age 83 passed away on April 4th, 2016 at East Troy Manor. Ann was born December 2nd, 1932 to the late Wilfred and Diga St. Amour.

In 1966 Ann received Christ as her Savior and Lord through the ministry of Elmbrook Church in Brookfield. Through the years she has served Him as a Sunday school teacher, attending bible studies, and for 8 years she was the president of the United Methodist Women's group in Waterford. She also served on their Ad board. She was most recently a member of East Troy Bible Church.

Ann was a loving mother who devoted the beginning of her life to raising her two sons. After raising her children Ann worked for WPS Insurance of Milwaukee. She worked for them for over 11 years before retiring. Ann met her loving husband Harold later in life and they were married in 1988, they spent many wonderful years together. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Ann loved quilting. She often made beautiful quilts for her loved ones. She was also an avid reader.

Left to cherish Ann's memory is her husband Harold Stelzner and her children Michael (Elaine) Asby and Joseph Paul (Lura) Asby. She is also survived by her sister Jane (Robert) Lees. She will be dearly missed by her fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents. She was further preceded by her daughter Carolyn Asby, her brother David St. Amour and sister Frances Babbitt.

A memorial celebration to honor Ann will be held Saturday April 9th, 2016 at East Troy Bible Church located at 2660 North Street East Troy, WI 53120. You may visit with the family from 9:30am till 10:30am, when the memorial service will begin. Following the service there will be a Christian burial at Oakwood Cemetery (4826 WI-83 Waterford, WI 53185). Immediately following the burial a luncheon will be held at Rivermoor Golf Club (30802 Waterford Drive Waterford, WI 53185).

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made out to East Troy Bible Church.
